re: Colorado school bars transgendered 1st-grader from using girls' restroomquote: the mom is pretty decent looking, btw. Reply Back to Top |
| This whole idea of letting kids "figure out who they are" is pure liberal, granola munching, hippie bull shite. It is the father's responsibility to teach his son how to be a man and what it means to be a man. Same thing for mothers with their daughters. The fact that so many so-called parents stopped doing this is one of the big reasons the world is so fricked up today. Reply Back to Top |

| are you suggesting all gays should use womens bathrooms? Reply Back to Top |
quote: I feel great for the women in the women's restroom that don't have to deal with the uncomfortable situation he'd put them in if he was in there. Also, gays abide by the "look up at the wall" rule as well as any straight guy. They're also adults, not a 1st grade boy who is confused about his body. Reply Back to Top |
quote: I think I might understand part of what is pushing this child to act this way. He is the only child in that family who is not disabled. Two autistic kids, one brain damaged, and the youngest wasn't born yet at the time of the article. The kid is going to extremes to get some attention, and I suppose that the parents are encouraging it. He sees his siblings getting special treatment, and he thinks that he needs that to be normal. To be truly brought into the family. Just a thought. Reply Back to Top |
| i took that away from the article too, i just couldn't verbalize the other childrens problems without it sounding mean in my head. Reply Back to Top |
| Yep. Sounds like the family circumstances are causing the kid to act out for attention. Also, may be that the parenting skills learned for dealing with the autistic children have made the parents potentially too un-structured with the non-autistic child. Lots of stuff going on with that family. My TD psychology degree seems insufficient to handle this matter. Reply Back to Top |

| How is someone a full time student at two colleges? wtf is up with that? Reply Back to Top |
quote: I do NOT know this for sure so could be wrong, but I think 12 credit hours a semester is considered full time. It would be hard as hell, but 24 credit hours in one semester is possible. I don't know why not do it all at 1 school, or how the frick they are earning income, but I digress.. Reply Back to Top |
quote: What's worse is this sorry good-for-nothing piece of shite has a wife and FOUR kids that he should be supporting. Guess who's footing that bill though. Reply Back to Top |
quote: This is a new term to me. So the one kid without a brain defect (minus the cross dressing) gets the label. This is all on the parents if they don't buy dresses, dress him in dresses, and treat him like a girl this doesn't happen. 1st graders can't even make a proper decision on what they want for dinner much less out of the blue decides he wants to be a chick. quote: Also I didn't mention it earlier because I saw your post on like page 4, but you made a good point about "distractions" at school. When I was growing up, we couldn't wear any sort of baseball hat or cap, couldnt' die your hair weird colors, couldn't wear crazy arse shirts with offensive slogans, etc...basically anything that "distracted" from the learning environment was prohibited. Yet they're gonna let this little boy die his hair purple, wear a dress, and use the girl's room? This whole situation just stinks to high heaven. They're putting the feelings of 1 above the feelings of hundreds and that just sucks. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
