Athens' finest rock band and one of the world's greatest alternative groups ever. Albums like Murmur,Life's Rich Pageant, and of course Automatic for the People are absolute classics.

Flat Duo Jets was the most underrated band from Athens at that time. LINK

I was at that show, too.

Not an all time favorite, but a really good show nonetheless.

About a decade or so earlier, they played down the hill at the Bayou... I was way too young to go...

Saw them there....think it was '83. Didn't know who they were at that time. But a couple friends said we should go. Saw them again at the Saenger Theater in '86 or so.

It looks like that live performance was filmed at my buddy's old frat house in Athens

I was at that one; honestly was rather disappointed in the concert. Their first two albums really haven't held up all that well to me though I loved them at the time. Document, though, is one of my favorite albums, period, and they wrote some great songs over their career.
