| 2004 - Xavier Carter - thought this dude was destined for football greatness, not track greatness. 2006 - Derrick Odom - I thought for sure he would be twice the LB Riley and Sheppard were. I was close. He was twice as crazy. 2007 - Phelon Jones - I thought he was the DB who would start a trend like #7. 2008 - Thomas Parsons - I thought he had future 1st round LT material. 2009 - Chris Garrett - I thought he was always going to be the QB over Shep ... didn't think he'd walk so soon. 2010 - Jakhari Gore - thought he'd be special.
