For one he actually writes his own music which is sadly more you can say about 90% of today's pop stars. I'm not even an R&B fan, so it takes a lot for me to like an R&B artist. As for him choosing to sing Forest Gump at Grammys, I have no idea what he was thinking. It's not one of his better songs. I don't know if he was singing to for shock value to get more attention because he's singing about a same-sex relationship or what, but it was obviously a mistake plus he didn't even sing it well. | The talent is in the album he crafted and WROTE songs for. This was not a good performance, I'll give you that. But the way a lot of people seem to describe talent is just a great voice you're born with. Ocean is a song writer. And a pretty good one. Reply • Back to Top |

| I thought FO was garbage also, but Stephen Jenkins from 3EB is a phemomenonal artist and a terrible live vocalist. I'd still consider him a talented artist. That said, Stephen J is Lennon/McCartney next to FO Reply • Back to Top |
