Exactly. This is an easy "victory" for Rove that he can attach himself to (since we all know this Judd thing isn't going anywhere) but provides the requisite publicity to help himself still look like a kingmaker.

Whether you like or hate Judd, whether you or a Democrat or Republican, you can't honestly like the way our system works at the moment, can you? It's so fricking far removed from the people, liberal and conservative, in my opinion.

Exactly, why the GOP is just figuring this out is amazing. First impressions are very important. If they can define the candidate before the Dems can then the Dems have an uphill battle to redefine the candidate in voters minds.

Now if they can figure out that they should stop talking about trillions of dollars of debt. Rather, they should personalize it by saying the average tax payer owes the gov't about $147,000. then they will help their cause.

Judd announced via twitter yesterday that she won't challenge McConnell for his senate seat. She was having a hard time getting the backing of Kentucky's Democratic powerbrokers and once the Clintons pooh-poohed her chances of beating McConnell, she knew it wasn't going to happen.

Certainly this moment didn't help her convince donors that she could relate to everyday Kentucky folks.

Kudos to her for being honest enough with herself to back out now instead of after torturing herself with a few weeks or months of 16+ hour days when the campaigning gets real.

She's rich. Go find a beach and just write checks to candidates you like.
