| F&DB: Best LA Brewed Beer Tourny Rd 1 pt II Posted by tetu Rules similar to last Tourny.  on 2/6 at 11:43 pmI have 4 groups of 8. Pick 5/group that you want to see in the next round. Group C (Rd 1) Abita Abbey Ale Abita Christmas Abita Purple Haze Bayou Teche Mardi Grad NOLA Blonde NOLA Flambeau Red NOLA Mechahopzilla Tin Roof Parade Grounds Porter Group D (Rd 1) Abita Amber Abita Andygator Bayou Teche Biere Noire NOLA Brown NOLA Irish Channel Stout NOLA Hurricane Saison Parish Canebrake Tin Roof Voodoo Bengal SPA I realize these groups are a little top heavy with Nola and Abita which is why we're doing (up to) 5 votes/group this round. Disclaimer: only commercially available brews that were produced more than once are being represented (sorry no pour me somethin mistah or abita black IPA). To expedite the process I filtered the available brews (the above is only half of te list though). If one of your favorite beers isn't represented its probably BC it sucks. rutiger will probably agree and tell you how much it sucks (he probably thinks half of the above listed are absolutely terrible and I wouldn't argue. IMO there are maybe 3 great beers produced in LA and a few more good ones). So go ahead and bitch about Covington bock or abita jockamo not making the cut...you've been warned. PS.
