I don't care what people do honestly, I just HATE when people judge me for smoking weed.

I've done just about everything under the sun, except crack, meth, and h... I never popped pills really either.

My mom's side of the family owens a pharmacy and some of the people that came in that store really turned me off of rx drugs.

You must not drink either then.

I drink about 2 drinks a wknd. I dont have a problem with people who drink a little more as long as they aren't sloppy and have their bearings.

Totally legit reason. Did you start in the military in your teens? I can see someone that has been in the military since right out of highschool having never tried any type of drugs.

Yes, joined at 17 and I'm 31 now. This is probably the major reason why.

I don't think I have ever met someone that hasn't tried alcohol.

Everything but heroin. High school and college was fun did more drugs In the military then can imagine. Smoked weed out of grenade launcher barrels and even dropped acid on a mission in Iraq though I don't recommend it. Craziest shite I did was dmt, I think thats what we called it tasted like grape soda when you smoke it someone help me out on that. Everyone in my recon platoon did it but one guy but he was cool with us doing it and we were cool with him not. Of course he wasn't a bitch. The last 7 years I've rarely had even Tylenol

IMO this is the worst addiction because the addict justifies the addiction with the legality of the drug. We are dealing with a lot of abuse in the military with painkillers prescribed legitimately.

So, what would be you'z guyz main reason from staying completely away from drugs?

I had plenty of exposure, and people close to me whose lives were ruined tell me don't ever do drugs. Seeing them was enough for me.

I went to college and had never seen any type of illegal drug until I was a freshman in college. If I had never gone to college and started in the military right out of high school I'd have probably never tried any type of recreational drug.

Now having said that, the only drugs that I have found addictive to me are the ones prescribed by my doctor. XYC, acid, weed, etc. I have never found the least bit addictive (everyone is different).

I lament the fact that a painful medical condition I developed at age 21 got me on a bad path that I couldn't get off of and it was all started by Drs doing what they are supposed to do. I just found that the drugs they prescribed were WAY more addictive than any other substance I had previously done for the fun of it.

I have used many different drugs. Never got addicted. Had a great time doing it. Learned a lot during that time. I can not judge anyone on their life choices. To each their own.

I am perfectly happy to live in the world as it is - feel no need for artificial distortion or any kind of mood altering drug.

In fact, I pity those of you who waste even a portion of your lives in that activity.

It would appear your real life is pretty shitty to want to escape it so often.

And to brag about it seems sort of delusional - in my humble opinion.

Puff away - have simulated fun.

Ok, Beaver Cleaver. Sorry you grew up at such a shitty time. You almost made it to the 60s, which would have been awesome.

I never saw people who's lives were messed up from drugs until I was in my 30s. It was from heavy crack-cocaine and meth use. Those experiences turned me away from ever wanting to touch those substances.

Seeing someone ruin their lives on a type of drug is a great deterrent from ever wanting to try those substances.

The OP was into glue and whiteout.
Pretty cool if you ask me.

Plus, it's kinda square to say "square."

Me. Since it's essentially impossible to overdose, I don't count weed as a drug.
