I remember when Call of Duty was the offshoot of Medal of Honor. How the tables have turned.

A sad day in the gaming world.

We laughed that shite off.

I remember playing the first one on the PS. I probably played through it a dozen or more times. I never played any of them after Allied Assault. COD came out a year or two after AA and held my WWII attention for a good long while.

RIP Medal of Honor. You were good to me in my teenage years.

Did MoH even have much of a multiplayer offering on consoles? I remember split-screen but I played COD 2 multi on my PC and it was awesome, they just missed out on what propelled COD so far ahead.

Saturation of genre and the blockbuster buying patterns of the new market. More series and companies will continue to die out sadly.

Good riddance, the games had been going downhill since Allied Assault.

It was a combination of terrible MP offering on consoles and the lack of LDS. They just left us PC gamers in the dark with Frontline, Pacific Assault, and the other releases. It made zero sense, because AA was very well received online.
