Can QPR complete the miracle turn around and avoid relegation?

It would be really exciting to see. They're currently on a four game stretch without suffering a loss. Remy, Samba, and some Korean guy have been brought in to strengthen the team. Peter Crouch could be on his way there before the day is over.

I'm definitely pulling for them.

I think we're looking at a club, QPR, that if they can somehow manage to stay up, will be competing for a European place next season. They have a nice roster, wealthy owners, a world class manager, and are showing a strong desire to remain relevant.

A strong desire to remain relevant... Because they have to. They shelled out a lot of money for players that were either head cases or did not pan out for them. It would be disastrous if they went down. Even if they stay up they will have to figure a lot things out

we've seen quite a few low table, regional clubs turn into big brands on the backs of wealthy owners over the past decade.

If they can stay up, there's no question they'll do more spending. That's step 1 to playing your way into Europe. It's really not that far fetched.

What relegation fighter one year finished in the top 5 the next season?

Fulham yo-yo's up and down the table quite a bit.

It's really top 7 if you assume the league and FA cup go to a top 5 team. With that I'd think finishing in and around the top 10 would be considered competing for a european place.

I'd put him on Chelsea right now over what we are getting.

Well Newcastle is doing the opposite this year sooo I guess anything is possible.

That said, QPR should and probably will stay up.

So this one goal makes him a star? He's shite. He will always be shite.

ETA:Maybe they will buy Torres and pair him with Crouch, forming the greatest duo of strikers that don't score.

If top 10 is your standard then yes, its possible they climb to 10 next year (although not likely). I would say the top 6/7 are competing for the places, but that's just my opinion.

That's what most QPR fans (including me) thought after surviving last year. Maybe not a European place, but at least competing for a top half finish after some our summer signings.

Then we went out, lost 5-0 to Swansea at home in the first game and didn't win until almost the halfway point of the season.

We're definitely playing better under Harry, but the major problem is we have brought in so many high-paid players that don't have any passion or heart for the club, they're just collecting a (sizeable) paycheck. Most of our best performances have come from the remaining players from the team that won promotion.

We can survive this year, but it's still going to be very tough.
