| Does anyone here ever talk about Rob Bolden idk much about him, other than that he was highly recruited at Penn State, and that he transferred here after that mess. Does anyone think there is a legitimate shot we could see him at the helm after next year. Do coaches ever talk about him? Reply Back to Top |
| Nope. No one has ever talked about him. Not even the coaches Reply Back to Top |
| Was talk that he transferred...not sure though because he's still on the roster. Reply Back to Top |
quote: how many of his friends/family are going to start threads asking for him to start? Reply Back to Top |
quote: He started 15 games at Penn st and after Mett leaves it's him, Rivers, and (likely) two RS Freshman in Rettig and Jennings. He'd be the only QB with any experience. Not totally implausible, especially with CLM's history of awarding seniority. Reply Back to Top |
quote:are you thinking of Jerrard Randall (QB from FL who is now going to NW Mississippi JUCO)? Reply Back to Top |
quote: There was a reason Rivers was the backup this year. Bolden was brought here to provide depth at QB. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Rivers was the backup because all transfer players have to sit out for one year Reply Back to Top |
quote: nah, ppl have been talking about Bolden transferring too, but there's never been much more to that than speculation it seems. Reply Back to Top |
quote: What? No Reply Back to Top |
quote: No, Bolden didn't have to sit out. Penn State players were allowed to transfer without sitting. Reply Back to Top |

| i am shocked there are people that actually thought bolden would play a snap at LSU in the first place. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Almost as shocking as thinking Rettig will make it to campus, right? Reply Back to Top |
| i'd say so brah. Reply Back to Top |

quote: No. Bolden was brought as insurance in case Mett went down and Rivers wasn't ready. He was never going to be more than 2nd string at Penn State. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Well that's kind of what depth at QB means. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
