Pitchers dominated. Hitters dominated. I think we may go undefeated this year. Reply Back to Top
Well, I realize there are Lies, Damned Lies, and Scrimmage Stats, but that is a pretty nice batting avg. Thing is, to get to that 25-54, the rest of the pitching staff must have sucked to counterbalance these guys: quote: Reply Back to Top
umm. how long was this scrimmage? the team batted .500 with a few home runs and the pitchers held everyone scoreless? that's what I got from reading the OP. Reply Back to Top
| 6 innings each. 3 scrimmages. plus they extend some innings. so if a pitcher gets 3 guys out it counts as a scoreless inning. but then if they extend the inning and the 4th guy hits a homerun he gets credit for the homer, but the pitcher still gets credited with a scoreless inning. | Offensive stats are impressive because I don't recall them being like that last year during practice reports. When you have two srs and two jrs and an advanced fr in the lineup it should be a better offensive team. Nice to see Glenn starting out well! I think he will be a key part of the staff this year and he needs to be for this team to cover the loss of Gausman and without Broussard to eat up those midweek innings. Reply Back to Top |
hopefully lamarche reynolds and newman are ready Reply Back to Top
No mention of Eades or McCune. All of the guys listed threw scoreless innings and the hitters seemed to crush the ball. I hope that doesn't mean Eades and McCune were the ones giving up all those doubles and bombs. Reply Back to Top
