Am I the only one who sees great things for next years team? Yes were losing a lot of talent to the NFL this year but we're also losing a lot of distractions. There will be a ton of competition for starting positions something we have lacked do to "Big Names". Next season most of the players that caused problems with suspensions and distractions to the team will be gone and hungry young guys will finally get their chance to step in and make a name for themselves. While I am a huge fan of most the players leaving I think we are better off without some of them. I know LSU will have a great 2013 season and prove all those negatigers ,who think this will be a "down year", wrong. WE DON'T REBUILD WE RELOAD. Reply Back to Top

Reminds me a lot of how everyone felt after 2010. I don't think people realize how many freshman we played on the defensive side of the ball last year. At times the entire back 7 could have up to 5 freshman. Considering we return just about everyone on offense, there is absolutely no reason to blow the season off. I have no doubt well be in title contention once again Reply Back to Top

LSU will never win another game. The loss of RS10 is insurmountable. Reply Back to Top
If the rumors are true about OC, then yes...HUGE season IMO. If not, 9-3/10-2. Reply Back to Top
The schedule is the biggest obstacle. I think the team will be better than last year but might not have a better record bc TCU and UGA are good Reply Back to Top

I just can't see Bama beating us again and UGA may have an offense but they lose way more players on a defense that was pretty mediocre. We have UF and A&M at home so things set up pretty nicely IMO. I think we beat Bama for sure and lose one of the other three games maybe 2. Reply Back to Top

quote: If that is not the stupidest comment I have heard in awhile. Wow 9-3, freaking great season that will make sure we all get to watch another team represent the West in the SEC Championship game. Isn't the LSU football program supposed to be competing for SEC and National Championships on a year in, year out basis at this point in time? I can promise you 9-3, and for all practical purposes 10-2, will not put us in the hunt for either. Les Miles in now the 4th highest paid college coach in the country let's all hope our goals are higher than 9-3 or 10-2 a season, otherwise he owes us some money back. Let Arkansas and TAMU strive for those records, I want LSU to strive for higher goals. And for anyone who wants to say "Remember the 90's" don't need to we aren't in the 90's. quote: I sure hope you are right. Personally anytime you lose that amount of experience on a team I just feel it is bound to affect the performance. I hope I am wrong but experience makes a difference along with senior leadership. Reply Back to Top |

Lots of great players working and waiting to show what they have. Plus an elite recruiting class coming in, with plenty of players who might contribute right away. The sky is not falling Reply Back to Top
You might be in for a letdown, next year. Schedule is one of the toughest, and we lost alot of our leadership. Some don't fully appreciate what we lost in Minter.... Reply Back to Top Refresh
