That's ridiculous. I knew Michu was from there, but not the other two.

shite worries me. But, I think you´re referring to Carlos Slim´s injection of capital, if I´m not mistaken.

Toni Fidalgo, from Avilés, runs everything, as president.

Toni´s a good guy, but he´s a famous football and sports journalist, not a businessman. That´s not too important, as being an Asturian, he´s comparable to the stereotypical Jew.

You think Simeone would leave Atleti for Real? That would be grounds for a beating, imo.

Wikipedia has Slim's group "Grupo Carso" as the owner.

Now I'm remembering the old RO thread. Dang, it's late.

Naw, he´s a little demacrated elegant type of guy. Well dressed, well spoken, and charismatic.

Gotcha. So you just root for RM over Barca because of those smelly Catalan jerkoffs with their faux threats of secession?
I have ALOT of true Catalonian friends. What you read, is not the truth. It is politics, simply that.

I was being facetious. Although, my profe did tell us that the Catalonians were the Jews of Spain

My old Spanish profe clearly hated Catalonians.
If I´m not mistaken, you said he was from Granada, or at least, from the province.

These people are complicated for even those that they care for.

As I said, they have ´mala follá´. In English, they´re prickly pears.

The Catalonian is hated on the mainland because he is active, very salesman like, but above all, because they always want more.

I could go into a long diatribe, but suffice it to say, they were given, and have always been given, special leeway financially, and prosper. Because they prosper, they feel they shouldn´t pay taxes commensurate with their income.

In a nutshell, it is MUCH more complicated than that.

Yeah, he's from Granada or the surrounding area. I think he had a complex about his ancestors probably being Muslim.

Probably, we´ve got some Jew blood in our area, I have an uncle who swears we´ve got Jew blood, but for the most part, we´re pasty white, tall, green or blue eyed.

That´s not a bad thing, I like most Israelis, nearly all, I don´t like American Jews, however. That´s been my experience.

Yeah, I was rear ended going into Madrid to sell the latest strip of RO, amongst other things, to Spain´s biggest retailer, and the cop who came to the scene saw a sample on the deck of the back end of my car, and offered to heliport me in to the major trauma hospital there, because he thought I was a player for Real Oviedo.

Twas simpático.
