I thought the new bookstore looks pretty good... Sounds like you have never been inside.

Wonder what is going to take the place of Barnes and Noble when its physical locations go out of business in 10 years?

Their bread and butter will be on-campus bookstores for many years. That's the company's new focus.

Is the union done yet?

Not sure if serious...if so, you obviously have no clue about the history of our university, its close ties to the military, and particularly its Air Force ROTC Detachment. The univesity is host to AFROTC Detachment 310 which goes by the moniker "Flying Tigers." This is in homage to the Flying Tigers of the American Volunteer Group in WWII which was led by General Claire Lee Chennault, a Louisiana native.

The Flying Tigers were flying antiquated P-40 Warhawks against the "superior" Japanese Zero. Despite this, they were wildly successful because they used far superior tactics to neutralize the technilogical advantages the Zero had and then bested the Japanese pilots with their skill. These tactics were the brainchild of Chennault and the skill was due to Chennault's demand on rigorous training.

You seem to know much about this topic.

Makes sense.

My issue is not with the plane itself. It's with the location of the plane...in a bookstore. I guess the kids enjoy it.

CEBA (Patrick F. Taylor) is about to undergo a major renovation as well:

That side of campus is going to be almost unrecognizable in a few yeas.

That orange shite looks terrible. I don't understand why they didn't use the quad architecture for these buildings. I guess they wanted the modern look. The bec is great on the inside. Power plugs for every desk

(If there has to be a football connection to this post, then I suppose one could think about this as it relates to where one can buy stuff on gameday or something.)

Or people can go to the gift shop right outside Tiger Stadium like they do now.
