No Gordon No problem... Posted by slappa da bass I'm so glad that this team isn't a one man machine. I love how each guy brings a different style of swag and hustle to the team. I hope all of the casual Hornets fans out there are taking notice. We need to fill the Hive!! Reply Back to Top
Wouldn't go as far as to say it's no problem without Gordon, but proving we can win without him is important so it's not one guy's respsonsibility for a "W." The Hornets look like a much better team since his return. Reply Back to Top

This was a BIG step for the team. I think Gordon gave them a little more confidence and help start that 4 game streak. They now know they can come together and add a little more when someone is out. Reply Back to Top

Great game. What I took away from it is that we really need a legit SF. Aminu made a huge difference in that game. If we got a legit SF, we would be VERY good. Reply Back to Top
quote: If he keeps up his current play, maybe we resign him next year on a reasonable contract. With the weak SF crop in both FA and the draft, that may not be easy, though. However, if we do not see our big fish FA target this year, they may give him a Carl Landry type deal (one overpaid year that doesn't hurt the cap) allowing us to keep moving forward with the roster while keeping the cap space open for 2014 free agency. quote: Aminu is now 21. It may be possible that he's turning the corner. Let's be honest, he finally looks like a grown man out there. He doesn't seem as timid recently, which is a very good sign. Maybe he turns into the SF that we need. We can bump the old thread where we rued not picking up his option. Reply Back to Top |
Lawd I hope so. If that is the case, we will be sick in two years. We can still grab a max player and should get some talent in the draft. Reply Back to Top
hornets need to have a good string of games where all of their core players are healthy. ever since gordon came back, every individual player (that gets the minutes) has been playing better. hell! even rivers played last night better than his normal self. Reply Back to Top Refresh
