Robert Downey Jr's life was going in a fast spiral down the shitter before he straightened up and made an successful comeback. Who else has done this? I think Dennis Hopper did, but he never really hit the depths that RDJ did...I think it was mostly his health. Can't even think of any actresses who've done it...

She was a wild child as a teen. Runs in her family, all the Barrymores were like that. She's been sober for years.

I wad trying to think of someone who had made a comeback from rock bottom like RDJ the other night when I saw IM2 on TV and couldn't think of anyone.

Dude came back from skid row and prison to being IM and Sherlock Holmes.

Didn't know that. You know, I never did find her funny. Thought she was a shitty replacement for Shelly Long and was hoping she would go away fast. Never did, though.
