| Scott Pioli possibly to the Falcons? Posted by NorthGwinnettTiger Falcons Director of Player Personnel, David Caldwell, took the Jags GM position today. Any chance Dimitroff tags Pioli to replace him? They have previously worked together in New England. Obviously he sucked arse as a GM, but he had success in the same position. Thoughts? | I'm actually very closely related to someone pretty high in the front office (in Player Personnel) of the Falcons, who was with both in NE, and this wouldn't surprise me at all. They're pretty close. Reply Back to Top |

My uncle got the job. He's a good man for the job as he's one of the hardest workers, most experienced, and one of the best there is in the business. I just got back from ATL actually. Reply Back to Top
Cool...congrats to your uncle. I didn't know they had even filled the position. Atlanta news media sucks. Reply Back to Top
Thanks bro Yeah, it was just a promotion from within. Maybe got less coverage because of the big game and excitement around the playoffs. Our family is half Cowboy fans/half Saints, but I definitely like the Falcons after the royal treatment they gave me this weekend. I don't have a team exclusively, but I'm hoping the Falcons win the SB. Reply Back to Top
I read some articles about it...seems like he's really looking forward to being off the road for awhile. Reply Back to Top
I don't doubt it man. He's been at it for a long time, working in just about every corner of the nation. Been with some great organizations, and he's said that this is the best. He's really happy with the direction things are going and the organization. His work has definitely given me, at a college age, some opportunities to see things people go their whole lives' wanting to experience. I'm definitely proud of him. Reply Back to Top Refresh
