Posted by Tweezy on 1/22 at 10:08 am to WarSlamEagle Fire arsene *cliche #4* Eta but really, things seem to be regressive at arsenal these days. Can't fire a legend though This post was edited on 1/22 at 10:09 am Reply Back to Top |

Posted by YNWAmetry504 on 1/23 at 8:17 am to Tweezy Brendan Rodgers has more of a chance leading Liverpool to win a championship than Wenger has with Arsenal. Maybe if Giroud turns into Van Persie. The way things are looking, Chelsea and Arsenal have serious problems. It seems gunners fans want Wenger gone. Arsene since 1996!!! I know for a reason but damn, time for a change. Spend more $$ Arsenal The old and the new LFC Reply Back to Top |

| So, Paul Pogba's playing like the most promising midfielder in the world right now with only experience in a handful of actual top flight matches. Pirlo is vintage Pirlo. I really hope Llorente sucks for them or it may mean they'll arguably have gotten the most effective transfer in Europe for three straight seasons, FREE! Yes, I'm mad. quote: which is strange b/c they have a transfer embargo from the Russian FA from unpaid wages for a player, so he might be able to sign with RK, but won't be recognized by the Russian FA until this summer. ![]() Reply Back to Top |

Posted by wm72 on 1/23 at 5:28 pm to joey barton quote: I didn't really follow much of his time at ManU but was kind of hoping there was going to be some issues with him since they let him go but he's been out and out awesome for Juve when he's played. Seriously seems like he has all the tools to be a smoother passing version of his compatriot Viera. He's been plugged in everywhere in their midfield so far and looked impressive regardless of what they're asking. Reply Back to Top |

| I think everyone at United knew he was going to be a top player. I think I remember him having some issues with Fergie regarding his contract and his agent and as a result he was pretty much frozen out. Reply Back to Top |
| Speaking of United, a deal to Crystal Palace for Zaha is supposed to be finalized by Saturday. £15 million transfer, 5.5 year contract. Reply Back to Top |

| Gary Hooper to Spurs? It just feels wrong to take Hooper from the Hoops... But we need another striker! I was hoping for a bigger guy (maybe a good version of Adebayor), but another Defoe can't hurt. LINK Reply Back to Top |
Posted by wm72 on 1/25 at 3:24 pm to SwaggerCopter AS Roma just signed Greek fullback, Vasilios Torosidis. He was linked in the summer but the deal never came through as we we're depending on the promising Brazilian kid Dodo to rotate with Balzaretti and Piris. However, Dodo has some nagging muscle injury that's meant he's yet to be 100%. Hoping he'll really help out as we're about to run Balzaretti into nothing more than a pony-tailed pool a sweat. Seems like a Balzaretti type (if not quite as solid defensively) from when I've seen him in the past: tireless marauding runs and able to cross with both feet. Bad news that may affect Roma's winter signings is that Destro seems likely to miss 2 months with a muscle tear/strain that requires minor surgery. Also, the club keeps saying they want to keep Stekelenberg until the summer as insurance but he's starting to lash out in the press so I wouldn't be completely shocked to see him sold and an attacker to fill in for Destro purchased.
