oregon is 0-2 vs the SEC in their last tow games. We beat WVU twice, and Oregon with their creative offenses.

WVU gave up 2 safety that has nothing to do with a "blizard" aka any snow.

Oregon hasn't won a national championship with their Creative offense.

But hay maybe we can learn something from TCU's Coach.

LSU's Scheme isn't why we lost to Bama. The fact that our Defense can't hold with 2 minutes left is.if you are up 17-14 with 1:59 left then it is on your defense. Plain and simple. If our Defense held our "simple easy to defend" offense would have gotten us to the championship.

score more points and it wouldn't be a problem.
We would skip the SEC title game?
So quick to blame the defense, lets not forget why LSU has success. Lets not forget 21-0, or 14-6, or 10-12. Auburn garbage arse defense held us to 12 points, Arkansas gave up 30 Ppg on average but held us to 20 points. How many td's did we score in redzone?

Blaming the Bama game on the defense is easy & stupid.

If our offense doesn't stall multiple times because of seemingly poor playcalls, our defense doesn't have the chance to blow the game.

Did the offense not put us up with 2 minutes to go? They drove the field and scored. They came through when they needed to. Yet somehow the offense keeps getting the heat for that.

Not only did our defense let them score they did in 48 seconds.

We didn't score a point in the final 20 minutes of the game. The offense had their best offensive output of the year but came up short. That doesn't mean our offense was perfect or somehow switch the blame to the defense.

Our defense held them to a season low in points and their 2nd lowest yard total of the year (WKU held them to 3 fewer yards than us but lost 35-0)

We scored 14 points in the Third and 4th quarter. Actually both in the last 20 minutes. So that just not true.

Im not saying our offense was perfect, i am saying it is getting heat when the defense collapsed at the end.

We scored a TD with 3:08 left in the 3rd... nothing in the 4th

I was two minutes off. 4th quarter point still stands

The defense played masterfully outside of ONE broken play where a true freshman couldn't hear the check down because of crowd noise.

Sammy tiger still probably believes there is a secret playbook.

Yep.

LSU had multiple opportunities to put this one away and didn't. You can't blame the defense for the loss, on one drive.

Offense didn't take advantage of opportunities and Bama was within one score, and they did take advantage of it.

LSU wins on defense not offense. if an inferior team still has good plays then whats the problem with LSU emulating that? Or do you really think the Saints offense wouldn't be worth looking at since the Saints missed the playoffs?

This statement proves you don't know what you're talking about.

Asking for a TE seam on 3rd and 4 as opposed to toss strong isn't asking the world. With as much as LSU plays off a strong TE formation, it would be pretty easy to pull off

What do you not understand? Our strength is our running game. On a 3rd and 4 why the hell would a coach choose to go AWAY from the best thing our team does? We don't have a great pass catching te. What we do have is a stable of great running backs. After our oline was gutted by injuries( and save the injuries happen to every team, because teams DO NOT usually lose 8 starters and 3 of those on the oline) we had trouble pass blocking, but your and bob's answer is to drop back MORE and instead of using your strength ( power run game) , LSU should go to its weakness. It's dumb.

It is a huge FALSE myth that Miles' offenses have always sucked. 4 OF THE TOP 5 LSU OFFENSES , EVER, ARE MILES COACHED TEAMS.
It's common knowledge that if the players execute, a fb dive can be successful. If the players execute , a short side option with Mett, can go for a TD.

Should the O have put up more points in the game...probably.

Did the O give the D a lead to protect with 90 secs to go and Bama 75 yds away...no doubt.

The team allowed Bama to take the game away.

Silly to call out one unit over the other.

Jesus Christ you are a fricking moron. You think that a short side option with a immobile QB can get you a TD. The qb is frickng immobile. Do you ever see drew Brees or Peyton manning run the fricking option?
Everybody in the fricking nation knows our offense is pathetic but dumb shits like you.

Well shite every coach should use that excuse. "Players did not execute." 3rd and 15? Run a FB dive. "Well the players did not execute." Sorry

Bruh you are a joke on this site. I've forgotten more football than you will ever know.

THIS IS A FACT, CUNT. MILES has coaches 4/5 of the top LSU offenses ever.
Also, it's common knowledge , among people who know football, THAT ANY PLAY CAN BE SUCCESSFUL. DWI BOY.

Good god all you want. It's dumb for a coach to go away from his team's strength. Just because you Madden players think he should.
We have a stable of great backs and maybe one good wr. Maybe. It's not smart to throw the ball 40 time a game when your strength is running the ball. Our offense isn't great , but we do something really well. It's run the ball.
You dumbass posters that think we should pass more clearly dot know shite about actually coaching football. Yeah let's drop back and pass more when our oline and qb is already having trouble picking up blitzes an pass protection. Lets go 3-4 wide with no rb help. This isn't NCAA 2013

ETA: if you actually knew football, you'd know thy execution is what sets offenses apart in CFB. Again a hb dive can be successful if the players execute.

I do agree that we are predictable. I can usually tell the play we are running by our formation and if I can , def co can.
