| We Now Know What Happened to CoD: Declassified Posted by oauron on 12/5 at 3:07 pm It's not secret that the Vita version of CoD has a ton of issues (despite fun multiplayer) with the ~1 hour long campaign and lack of polish. Well, things have come out and it's pretty understandable why it happened. The developers behind the Guitar Hero series were working on it not long after announcement but Activision ends up dropping the project. Sony then gives it to Nihilistic Software (made the Resistance game for Vita) with about 5 months before release. This explains why there was next to 0 media for the game after it was announced. I also feel a bit more forgiving that the developer only had around 5 months to make a game with such a large name attached to it. Here is a post from neogaf detailing it out with sources. LINK The biggest shame here is that they'll try and use this as an excuse to make more games for the platform. This should have been developed from a major developer from the get go. | I had a friend telling me how much the game sucked. This makes sense now. Activision is trying their damn hardest to become shittier than EA. Reply Back to Top |
| What do you mean trying Reply Back to Top |
| I always find these inside accounts of game studios fascinating, what a nightmare. Reply Back to Top |
