Try Zen hunting as my cajun friend calls it. We had a lease around Woodville. I would find rubs and scrapes, hunt the wind, the moon, etc and hardly see anything. This dude told me I was trying too hard and the deer could sense it. fricker would roll out of bed, have a leisurely breakfast and get to a stand on the the main gravel road...didn't matter what time.
