| re: Will the AP vote Ohio State #1 if... No. They're winning ugly like Notre Dame on a much crappier schedule. Reply Back to Top |
| My point exactly. He also makes it seem like Ohio State would have the top 6 SEC teams on their schedule which is absurd. Hell, Alabama barely has 2 of the top 6 every year. Reply Back to Top |
| Not every SEC schedule is even hard. Look at UGA's tough games this year: South Carolina Florida SEC Championship game (Alabama) That is pretty damn easy, but good for them for putting themselves in their position. But, but, but, it is the SEC. Half of the SEC blows. Plus, outside of the in-state rivalries (UGA-Tech, Florida-FSU, South Carolina-Clemson), they have cake OOC games. Reply Back to Top |

Posted by Zamoro10 on 11/18 at 5:20 pm to JohnnyKilroy Not if the BCS champ only has 1-loss. They might finish #2. Problem is everyone will forget about them sitting at home while everyone in the Top 5 will play 3 more games. And it's not fair to count additional losses against those teams when tOSU doesn't have to play anymore. This post was edited on 11/18 at 5:22 pm Reply Back to Top |
quote: Why? There is absolutely nothing about this team that says top 10 at all. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Tenn and LSU have both played Oregon recently Bama has played UMich (which is a cake team, I'll admit) Also played PSU (another cake team I'll admit) LSU played VT in 07. Also a home and home with WVU in 2010 and 2011. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Nope. Plus, you are adding an elite program into the SEC with this. That dramatically changes the landscape of the conference. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Ok I'll augment my statement. They'd play at least 3 and almost definitely a 4th. Most years they'd play 4. Every so often they'd get an easy schedule and play 3 Reply Back to Top |
| Dude, Georgia is playing two this year (excluding SECCG, since not everyone plays that), not three tough games. Reply Back to Top |
| And all of those teams would have another top 10 program to prepare for in Ohio State. You also act as if the SEC has 6 elite teams every year. They do not. Not even close. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Top 25 teams are cake teams now? Reply Back to Top |
quote: 6 elite teams? no. 2-3 really really good teams and 1 or 2 elite teams? yea. It's not really debatable that the SEC is far and away the best conference. No other conference even comes close. Reply Back to Top |
| The bottom half of the SEC is shite. Reply Back to Top |
quote: UM is a cake game for bama. They throttled them. Score was a lot closer than the actual game. UM's signature win comes from an OT win over 3 loss #24 Northwestern. Reply Back to Top |
| At the top yes. After that they're pretty much like other conferences. Reply Back to Top |

quote: Lol no. Mid level SEC teams would be contenders for just about any conference championship outside of MAYBE the PAC12. Reply Back to Top |
| Mid level being teams 5-8. Complete and utter bull shite. This post was edited on 11/18 at 5:59 pm Reply Back to Top |
| Ole Miss is a mid level I guess. They just about beat LSU. Did you watch them play Texas? How about Auburn, what conference are they winning? Miss State, Vandy, Kentucky, Missouri ? Which conference are these guys winning? Reply Back to Top Refresh |
