I was in the quarter system. 196 hours to graduate. I believe it was about $8 per quarter your ($12/semester equivalent). I don't remember what the enrollment fees were. Early 1970s. | To the op's question,my man,me nor any of my friends feel guilty for anything you refer to. We feel alittle anger that people of your age seem so soft and blaming of others. | Old white people and their ancestors built practically everything we have in this country. Had it been founded by Mexicans it would look like Mexico. Had it been populated by indigenous Africans it would look like Africa, and the wheel would probably still be waiting to be invented. Old white Americans have nothing to feel guilty about, they mostly worked their asses off to better their lives and their country and now it is being slowly dismantled. They left us spoiled rotten entitled brats who think the world owes them something, but see that is something that will be passed down to other generations until one day not too long from today we'll get another one of these threads blaming you. At some point you have to stop blaming previous generations for your woes in life and begin to take ownership for better or worse in order to deal with it. Learn from their mistakes and do better. | before this thread turned into a race thing, i think the OP did bring up some interesting points. made me think back to a lecture i attended years ago. the guy talking was discussing the pros and cons of every generation going back to the greatest generation. he said the baby boomers were the most selfish generation. they were the ones who bought a house from their parents for $20,000 and sold it to their kids for $200,000.
