re: Crackpot ASOIAF Theories SPOILERSquote: Not to mention I think the Tyrells go behind the Lannisters back as well and let them in the city. Reply Back to Top |
| I think Aegon makes it to the throne just in time to get betrayed by the Tyrells, the wall to come tumbling down, Jon snow getting resurrected, and Dany and Tyrion to land in the West and take Casterly Rock and Lannisport. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Tyrion will almost certainly take the Rock by leading the Second Sons through the drains. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Absofrickin' lutely. It's been referenced countless times since the first book. However, knowing Martin, if he lives long enough to write the book, he will make sure that Tyrion tries that, that whoever is in charge of the Rock planned for it, and Tyrion and Dany get killed for no reason. Also, Arya trips on a rock, gets a minor scratch, and dies from the ensuing infection after one chapter and Sansa gets to babble on for 22 POVs in a 30 POV book about dresses. Reply Back to Top |
| Just wanted to share this..... History of the Night's Watch as told by Ygritte. NSIAP Reply Back to Top |
quote: I see Dany landing in Dorne for some reason, and I think the Tyrells join with Aegon on the grounds of marriage with Margaery. And are you saying that Jon Snow gets raised at the end? I'd say he's going to be kicking close to the beginning. This post was edited on 2/14 at 5:27 pm Reply Back to Top |

quote: I agree and I just stumbled across it when looking at Carson's link. Can't wait for season 3... Reply Back to Top |
quote: Yeah, that was fantastic. Her voice was perfect for that. Reply Back to Top |
quote: I would bet that there are some Tyrells already working for Ageon. Maybe not the main branch, but willing to work with the Martells to bring the Targaryens back into power. Reply Back to Top |
quote: That would be fitting. An Aegon was the first and last king of the Seven Kingdoms. Reply Back to Top |
| The Blackfyres fought for centuries to get on the throne and it's taken right out from under them when they finally get it. Reply Back to Top |
| Willas Tyrell and The Red Viper were sending ravens back and forth to each other before Oberyn's death. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Wait what? I missed that. Reply Back to Top |
| He mentions that to Tyrion, I think. also: ![]() Reply Back to Top |
quote: Yeah, I think I remember it being something where the rivalry with the Tyrells and how Oberyn injured Willas were downplayed by saying the send ravens with messages to each other. Reply Back to Top |
| He said they corresponded regarding horse breeding. I don't know that that has any significance, but with Martin. . . Could Dany's white mare have come from the Tyrell's? Reply Back to Top |
quote: I like that, too. Was thinking: only 2 Kings, in the history of Westeros, ascended the Iron Throne by force of arms. One is revered as a conqueror, the other a Usurper. What will Aegon VI be known as, should he succeed? If his reign is that short (even shorter than Joff's) I like "Coldthrone" or even "Coldseat" -his arse wasn't on it long enough to even warm it. As for this talk about the Militant Faith and the Maesters...I've often wondered what The Citadel's Endgame is...and if Sam will have any influence in it's fruition. And WTF is the deal with Gendry? is he gonna be anyone significant at all? Any thoughts to where (if) he fits in anywhere? Reply Back to Top |
| I think Edric Storm will end up being more significant than Gendry. Reply Back to Top |
| It's hard for me to see any of Robert's Basterds having any significance. I think the story has moved past that poinf Reply Back to Top Refresh |
