Recommendation: Howard went 2-for-3 with two walks Thursday for Triple-A Lehigh Valley and played a full game at first base. He will see doctors Friday morning to get official clearance and should be in the Phillies lineup hitting cleanup Friday night.

2010: strikes out with the bat sitting on his shoulders to end the Phillies season. 0 RBI in the playoffs as well.

2011: grounds out to 2nd to end the Phillies season. sustains terrible injury.

He's production has also been down the past few seasons. Hope the guy can come back to his somewhat of his old form because the Phillies have him for another 3 years.

probably true but have you seen how pathetic 1st base in the NL has been this season?

hell rizzo may be the best 1st baseman in the entire NL right now.
