Great. He'll be the Andris Biedrins of United. Solid year after developing a streak of bad performances, then gets a monster contract. Then he turns into his old self. I hope I'm wrong. Reply Back to Top
7 points clear! What a match today. Screw defense. Reply Back to Top

I would like to see the cheap goals eliminated. The first goal we gave up yesterday to NUFC was inexcusable. Reply Back to Top
Yeh, that was tough. We prob won't see De Gea this weekend bc of it. Reply Back to Top
De Gea needs to step it up or we need to go with Lind full time .... DG gives up to many cheap goals >< Reply Back to Top
So, I'm getting a new United jersey with some Christmas money I got...trying to figure out what name/number I should get. RvP and Rooney are obvious contenders, but part of me wants to be different. I would go with Kagawa if I knew he was going to be great for us, but the injury hasn't helped. Maybe Valencia? One of my favorites on the team. Or maybe Rafael? Cleverley? Carrick? Giggs? Henriquez? Tunnicliffe? George Best? I just want someone that isn't a popular choice for United kits. Anyone but Evans, really. Reply Back to Top
I'm doing the same but will most likely be getting a Scholes jersey. He's one my all time favorites and since this is likely his last season it'll be be neat to have the jersey of one of his last. I agree with you on wanting one that's not as popular. I think Cleverly is going to be AMAZING for us in the future. Valencia is a very solid choice as well. Reply Back to Top
quote: I feel you. That's why I semi-seriously suggested Giggs. I think a Valencia one would be sweet. Cleverley is also a good one, love the way he plays. If I had professional caliber talent, I'd probably play like him. Creative center mid that's not afraid to fire off a rocket shot every now and then. Reply Back to Top |

I think Guardiola could have fun with our young midfield. ![]() Reply Back to Top |
But United's midfield sucks... We're missing a strong ball-winner, but that group is going to be ferocious in the future. Reply Back to Top
Have you seen the Smalling foul yet? I can't find video, just write ups about how lucky he was for not being sent off. Just wanted your perspective on it. Reply Back to Top
I have not. Forgot to set the game to record before I left for Florida. Couldn't find a link on 101GGs. But I've read what a few reputable United bloggers have said and they think he deserved to be sent off. Probably right, but in a 3-0 or 4-0 match (wasn't sure when it was exactly), I'm not that surprised that it wasn't a red. Again, I haven't seen it so I can't speak to it directly, but most of the reaction (even from United fans) seems to be that we got away with one. If it was last man, he should've gotten a red, no matter what the score or time left was. At the end of the day, it really didn't matter that much...but it's just probably another in a long line of decisions that rival fans can point to. Reply Back to Top
