| You're going to have to provide some definitions. What constitutes "free"? No taxes and no govt? What kind of "net" are we talking? Public schools? School lunches for poor kids? Care for the elderly and infirmed? GI bills for enlisted from single family homes? Temporary unemployment? The question should be broader. I'm comfortable saying I'd rather live free with no net because I've never been poor. Not sure that's the kind of society I'd want to live in, though. Reply • Back to Top |

| I wouldn't mind getting help from the government. I was on unemployment for a while and it was nice. I was able to focus on school much more and I got caught up on my leisure reading. Reply • Back to Top |
