re: Will payroll companies that represent small business owners...quote:I won't. Because that's not what where talking about. I can think of a dozen contract staffing firms for drafters/designers in Houston that at former gigs we "employed" people out of for years. Not temp companies. Just companies that handle the paperwork side of things for a (VERY) nominal amount. EDIT: quote:Sorry if I skipped over this, no Adminsitaff folks can be hire for one day, or years at a time. quote: This is completely different than a regular payroll setup. This is a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) which both Paychex and ADP (and others) offer where you are put into a large group. They become the employer of record for all unemployment, workers comp etc but you are still their employer. There are other rules that PEOs follow in order to allow handle services claims like you do but you are still ultimately responsible. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Holy shite you must be talking about a staffing service, yet you're saying payroll. I guess the fraudulent nature of your business has blurred the lines in your small mind. Amazing. Yes, you will pay around $1.30/hr or so more as a penalty because I can only assume you and your staffing agency will not offer decent insurance benefits. Reply Back to Top |

| TA.....Administaff is now named Insperity....it was never a staffing/temp agency company hence the name change. Insperity is a PEO, which provides Human Resources and other services for small to mid-size companies. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
