| If you're around for the Friday after the 4th, check out Jazz in the Park in the Sculpture Garden. It gets crowded, but if the weather cooperates, it's a fun afternoon option. Reply Back to Top |

| I was just kidding. Sad to see it close down. I have family that lives in D.C. and went once. It seemed like a cool place. Reply Back to Top |

quote: Ive been to both of those bars and it was like I walked into a vineyard vines catelog. Too many frat kids spending daddies money. Although there are some fine women in there. OP, check out the bars in Dupont, U Street, and there are a couple good ones in Georgetown. Reply Back to Top |
| well I don't frequent bars for the dudes, which is why I recommended them. I will admit there were a ton of kids trying way too hard, so if you're from the rural south you may need a few extra shots to make the GT and UVA grads bearable Reply Back to Top |
| the college bars in georgetown are terrible and ive never seen someone wearing affliction or anything close to it in clarendon. it's basically, polos, shorts, and brown flip flops EVERYWHERE Reply Back to Top |
| Add in the vandy, sewanee, clemson, and CoC kids. Those bars have a lot of hotties an if thats your scene then go for it. I prefer bars with a good beer selection on tap, couple of pool tables, and a little bit of breathing room. DC is all about the crowd you go out with. You can go anywhere and make it a good time. | whatever replace it with a personal trainer from blacksburg or a liberal from radford. clarendon night scene is shitty at best. Restaurants are really good though Reply Back to Top |

| Clarendon is plenty fun. Also Smith Point has a list fwiw. U Street and Glover Park are good for nightlife. During the day do the museums on the mall. Plenty to see. I should be in the area let me know if you have any questions. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
