Fishing With Texas Rigged Set Up (Beginner) Posted by CQQ What kind of weight should be used on this type of set up for bass, reds, trout, etc? If I have a bullet weight, do I just let it slide all the way down to the hook or does it need to be tied up somehow? Yeah, I know I'm a dumbass when it comes to this but I don't know you guys so I can ask Pictures and step by steps encouraged Reply Back to Top

Weight size is dependent on depth/cover fished Reply Back to Top |
Sometimes I put a plastic bead in between the hook and sinker Reply Back to Top

all you got to do is put a bullet weight above the hook, weight then hook...i use 1/8 oz weight most of the time..i go heavier depending on conditions (depth, cover, wind) Reply Back to Top
Yeah, except for when I sometimes put a plastic bead in-between the hook and sinker Reply Back to Top
Ok, so why is the swivel necessary sometimes and not others? Reply Back to Top Refresh
