Uh, Egypt has an impressive precedent of results on the African stage (probably the most prolific side by far if I am not mistaken). Don't equate his kid being a beast with him being a tremendous coach. Reply Back to Top

Bob Bradley's not going to have any tactical treatises written on his vision but he's a hell of a lot better manager than the hordes of "why can't we take our 5 players good enough for top flight clubs and play like Germany or Spain" USMNT fans give him credit for. Reply Back to Top

Bradley can manage. He's not exactly a tactical mastermind, but you have to give him credit for motivating his team during their countless comeback results. He has the best resumé of any US coach during his tenure with the USMNT. He also manages a team currently in the middle of the most tenuous social climate in the world. A politically inspired riot during a match in Egypt in February killed 72 people. The Egyptian FA was disbanded after the tragedy. The rest of the season was cancelled. The team had to play friendlies in Qatar in front of barely anyone. This last home qualifier was played in an empty stadium. Suffice to say he is doing an exceptional job considering the circumstances. Reply Back to Top

quote: Egypt has had more success in the continent than Cameroon (7 cups to Cameroon's 3) but Cameroon has done much more internationally. Reply Back to Top |
Arena also had a three more years and one more World Cup during his tenure. Reply Back to Top
