Interview help Posted by jp90 I have an interview with John Deere in the morning for a possible summer job (going into my senior year of college). I was told to bring my laptop and that i'd be asked to perform some tasks in the microsoft office suite. i have a basic knowledge of excel, word, and pp. Anyone have any suggestions as to certain skills i should become familiar with that may be asked in regards to a job at john deere? TIA Reply Back to Top
You can't cram for this type of interview. My best advice is to get a good night's sleep. Be confident. Show them what you know, and be honest about what you don't. Tell them about what a quick study you are. I promise you they are not expecting you to be any kind of expert. If they did they wouldn't be hiring an intern. You got this Reply Back to Top
I totally understand what you're saying. I'm not stressing too much. I just got the call for the interview today and figured I'd try and make myself as knowledgeable as possible, but thanks for the encouragement. Reply Back to Top
Maybe run through a couple general tutorials online? YouTube probably has plenty you can watch just to get a brief reminder Like the other poster said, they're not expecting you to teach them, just that you know how to navigate through the applications on your own. Of course, I have no idea what I'm talking about. Just a thought Reply Back to Top
