| A Blast from the Past -- A look back on TD.com's LSUrb Posted by Prominentwon on 5/25 at 10:36 pm So it's the off-season and there's really not alot going on. The recruiting board has been around quite a while and we have our regulars that enjoy following recruiting and we have your rantards coming over here and there and dropping knowledge on you people that have no clue about how recruiting works. We all know the Mo Claiborne thread is one of the best in history on this board. The massive amount of people that jumped into that thread and complained and whined and said that Les Miles was just handing out schollys like the were skittles was astounding. So, with that said, I went back and did some digging to find quite a few of the threads announcing some of the commits over the years. I hope this thread is ok.. I know it's against the rules to bump old threads (I've been suspended for it.) so since I had a little time, here we go. If you read through some of these, I'm sure we'll find some gems. The greatest LSURb Thread in History -- Morris Claiborne is an LSU Tiger Will Blackwell 2008 Karnell Hatcher Everyone's favorite Rocky Duplessis PJ Lonergan (nice first post Rouge) 2009 Michael Brockers (for a 1st Rd. pick, not much of a reaction.) Josh Wiliford 2010 Alfred Blue (sure, let's move him to LB) Travis Dickson (couldn't find anything but SEC Rantness) Brad Wing James Wright Stephen Rivers If you guys can find more interesting reads, post them and I'll add them to the OP. | To be fair, I think Stefon Francois had a ton of potential coming out of HS. He had a bad knee injury that killed his speed and turned him into a man without a position. He was never supposed to play LB here. Reply • Back to Top |
