re: Did LSU release an EXACT # on the new stadium cap. in 2014? I say they will say 99,500 but will overbook and hope to reach 100,000 and then plan for it accordingly. Reply Back to Top
"Not sure why this is such a cause for concern each week from our fanbase. Like we win some award with this." We would win an award: the loudest 100k people in the world award Reply Back to Top
I think what gets overlooked is that there aren't enough tickets to satisfy student demand. Why not add 1500 more seats for the student allotment. Then fill those lower bowl seats with season ticket holders in the south endzone. Then make a bigger damn upper deck that will get some people off of the waiting list. They have the demand. quote: Why? because they leave early? That's a different argument and not in the realm of selling out a stadium. About 15000 tickets are available to a student body of nearly 30000. Outdated, but we both know that more student tickets haven't been added. Not sure if this was before or after greeks had their extra ticket taken away. If you were to say that student tickets don't bring in enough money then maybe that would be an argument. But, this is a University where students should be priority. No conflict of interest, I graduated 2006. This post was edited on 5/17 at 10:21 pm Reply Back to Top
Posted by NOSA on 5/17 at 10:26 pm to Tiger Authority quote: Freaking this. I can't even name the stadiums that seat over 100,000. I know a couple but certainly not all, and it's not a big deal. The largest attendance will be over 100,000, when Les is talking to recruits he'll say 100,000, etc. It's close enough that it doesn't matter. If we would be the first over 100,000 that would be a different story, but it isn't like new ground is being broken here. This post was edited on 5/17 at 10:29 pm Reply Back to Top |

This may have already been posted at some point, but here's a press release from HKS regarding the south endzone expansion. This is the first time I've seen official numbers listed for the number of suites and seats. LINK According to that link, there will be 3,500 club seats (rather than around 3,000), 66 suites (rather than around 60), and a SRO section which will hold an additional 400 people. Does anyone know the capacity of a Tiger Den suite? I would think there could be at least 20+ people per suite. This post was edited on 5/18 at 3:30 pm Reply Back to Top Refresh
