| The ATL Thread Posted by SwampDonks After a split of a two game series with the Reds, we now have another two game series. This time with the Fish, which will be our first time facing them this year. They come in playing their best baseball of the year, going 11-3 over the last 14. Here are the pitching matchups: Tonight (6:10) - LH Mark Buehrle (2.81 ERA) vs Minor (6.59 ERA) Tomorrow (6:10) - RH Ricky Nolasco (3.65 ERA) vs Beachy (Major League best 1.60 ERA) Tonight worries me a bit with Minor on the hill and us facing a soft tossing lefty but if we can figure out a way to win, I feel good about our chances of the two game sweep. Hopefully Minor can put together a solid outing from start to finish because if he doesn't, Jurrjens could be back sooner rather than later. Lineup: Pastornicky SS LULZ Prado LF Freeman 1B Uggla 2B Mac C Diaz RF Heyward CF Francisco 3B The other day I gave everyone an update on our hitting prospects. Today, I will give everyone an update on our pitching prospects as well as list their stats from my last update which was three weeks ago. 30. quote: That's what I'm thinking. If he bombs he's headed back to Gwinnett. Which would suck, because I think he and Beachy are the only two guys who we might sign to long term deals. This post was edited on 5/16 at 11:36 am Reply Back to Top |
