| If it's 20 million, the Saints seriously are being cheap. That's only 1 million over the highest paid QB in the league, correct? That's how inflation works. Drew gets the biggest deal since he's on a contract year. When Brady and Rodgers get around to their deal...it will be bigger than Brees. So on and so forth. Get the shite done Saints ffs. | If the Saints were actually crazy enough to let Brees walk, then I'll quietly put away all of my hats and shirts and wait until somebody with some brains is calling the shots down there. | Denver got PM signed, with all his issues, in a matter of wks if not less. DB's contract has been out there since last Aug at least & the Saints have had a good idea of his value/cost since then, with no PM type issues at all. Reply • Back to Top |
| Not sure a good analogy. PM was shopping himself to the league and denver rolled the dice quickly because elway hates baby Jesus. Brees is locked with the Saints playing or not due to the tag.
