| re: I'm tired of pork belly You come to NOLA, charcuterie plates galore. eta: I still love pork belly, I do find that a lot of gastropub-ish type places frick it up bad though. The bacon craze needs to chill out though, its downright lazy now. Bourdain also said this same thing about pork belly on his haughty chef get together last week, so your opinion is actually mainstream now, sorry brah. | Flip Burger is way overrated. I prefer Five Guys or Mugshots for burgers. Reply Back to Top |
| Flip burger must really suck considering Mugshots uses frozen patties and won't cook to order. How good is the burger really when all you talk about is the bun? Pork belly is delicious. This post was edited on 5/15 at 8:13 am Reply Back to Top |
quote:Had a burger here last week for the 3rd time. It's a "take it or leave it" burger for me. Just lacking flavor IMO. It uses the sweet bun which I like, but the burger itself is really just an average burger. To the OP, I still love pork belly, but don't order it very often anymore. I think it's love affair will come to an end shortly, because you are right, it's everywhere. Reply Back to Top |
