| Can any guys who follow HS/AAU ball give me a run down on some of these guys? Or any other Louisiana prospects we should keep an eye on for the next few upcoming classes  who is an SEC prospect? | Turner - Legit 6'8 Post. Strong for his size. Has post moves and a solid mid range. Can handle the ball extremely well for his size and is a better passer than most wings at his age. I don't see him growing upwards much more so he will certainly be a 4 and could develop into a 3. I noticed a few weeks ago he is visibly more athletic than during school ball. Started most games at the 5 for Riverside this year. Sims - Haven't seen him play in a year or two but I've heard he plays on the perimeter as well. I think you should be able to find his HS stats somewhere. Crowfield - All I've seen is one game in AAU and saw him get some PT for Riverside. He has a very nice stroke and handles the ball decent. Looks to be a 2/3. Johnson - No Info Jones - Really athletic with great timing on his blocks. Has a decent mid-range game (needs to improve it) and seems to be able to score with either hand around the rim. Will never be a go to player offensively but can be a game changer defensively. Word is he could be a 4 Star by end of the year but it would have to be because of his AAU coach helping him out (lots of money to give to recruiting services). Damian gets most of his points on putbacks and in garbage time in the EYBL. Reply • Back to Top |

| Well. In no way that I know of is what his coach is doing illegal. The guy is a billionaire (coach of the Texas Titans w/ Julius Randle and Matt Jones). He was one of the top guys of Excel Comm when they sold it. He is likely helping fund a recruiting site to get his players ranked a bit higher. Reply • Back to Top • Refresh |
