thought he would work his way out of it after he struck out Pena. that was a great sequence of pitches. he has the stuff.. but you're right, the pressure is getting to him right now. hopefully he can settle into the role because his repertoire is good enough to be a top closer.

Didn't Rivera blow his first 3 save opportunites of his career after he took over for Wetland ?

Soriano gave up a leadoff single then allowed a SB, gave up 1 run but in the end got the save tonight. Robertson was going to get the day off no matter what the situation was, but I think things are certainly still up in the air in the Bronx.
