Would you choose a packed 3D showing or an empty normal showing Same theater, same screen, same time. I chose the empty. I love an empty theater when watching a movie. Reply Back to Top
Empty. I hate crowds, one of the reason I hardly go to the theater anymore. Reply Back to Top
empty. i don't like 3D Reply Back to Top
Also 3-D blows and is more expensive. So this might be one one of the easiest hypotheticals ever Reply Back to Top
The real question is packed regular movie or empty 3D.. Reply Back to Top
Empty. I hate crowds and 3D Reply Back to Top
I would probably choose 3d anyway. I enjoy 3D, and I refuse to join the "It's cool to hate on 3D" thing. Reply Back to Top
In the 3-D theater, do I get a seat in the stadium seats? Or do I have to sit in the shitty seats in the front? If I get a regular seat in the stadium seating, 3-D all day. Reply Back to Top
I'm going to go see the Avengers tonight in 3-D. It'll be my first 3-D experience. I hope I like it. Reply Back to Top
I have watched several 3D movies and have hated them all. They tend to give me a headache and I find it hard to even concentrate on the movie. IMO the 3D quality at this point pretty much sucks This post was edited on 5/9 at 2:16 pm Reply Back to Top
Empty theater every time. Reply Back to Top
There is no "cool to hate on 3-D" thing. Good for you if you like it, but I'm pretty sure most people have seen movies in 3-D and alot just find it a shitty experience. The only good 3-D movies are ones like Avatar, which took James Cameron a decade and hundreds of millions of dollars to perfect Reply Back to Top
quote: also, movies shot in 3D purposefully use cinematography that accentuates the 3D, creating shitty angles Reply Back to Top |
Empty, no questions asked. I refuse to go to a movie anytime Friday or Saturday. Reply Back to Top
I've been wanting to asking this question but didnt want to start a thread for it, now seems a good time: How does 3D sports on TV compare to 3D in a theater. Even if 3D in a theater is "better quality," are 3D sports better looking because it looks live? Reply Back to Top
quote: People hate on 3D because it adds nothing to the experience other than a migrane. Oh, and it's more expensive. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Likewise. A good movie is about the story and not 3D though granted 3D enhances some special effects. Reply Back to Top |
