The book has directions for brick versions of a Desert Eagle, a AKS-74U, a Jungle Carbine, and a SPAS combat shotgun. Think of it as a "greatest hits" section of a first-person shooter—but in LEGO.

From what I've seen of the book, the step-by-step directions are detailed—and lengthy. For example, the LEGO Desert Eagle's how-to is around 50 pages long. Ditto for the other brick firearms' instructions.

My parents found my old LEGOs in their attic and gave them to my kid which has spurred 3 years of LEGO buying. The collection has grown substantially. It is one toy I don't mind buying and know that will get lots of use over a long period of time. In addition we can build together...

I can't tell you how many hours I spend building shite with LEGOs and how many fights were started between me and my two brothers after one of us Godzilla'd the others builds.
