I'd actually say they are highly rated. I'd be willing to bet that many would list them as No.1. I would.

I think most people have Nirvana or Pearl Jam as the first band they think of from grunge

Me too

Great live performance. Think it was at the Moore 1990.

Another It Ain't Like That

Same concert, I believe.

Nirvana should be ranked no where near AIC.

Staley was as good as it got for the genre.

Sorry, but Natural Science, YYZ, and 2112 are all among the best songs ever written.

Seriously, your username is an homage to Def Leppard. That doesn't speak highly of your ability to qualify music.

Yeah, but not really.Irony is pretty ironic isn't it

But hey,if it makes you feel better about things to imagine me riding around jamming to Cherry Pie then go for it

First vocalist was a black dude who was in a band that won awards for gospel music... Go figure.

Staley's voice made Alice In Chain's vocals so haunting. Him and Cantrell together were mind blowing.

probably the whole reason I like AiC.

Alice in Chains unplugged is the best album ever made of any genre. IMO
