| MLB Discussing Funding NCAA Baseball Scholarships Posted by Louie T LINK Would be awesome, and it's long overdue. The scholarship limit in baseball is one of the stupidest things going. Reply Back to Top |

| They need to increase the limit, but I don't like the idea of MLB getting involved in any way whatsoever. They can raise the limit, and the schools that really want to win will fund them all. No rule state you must used every scholarship at your disposal, so some schools can still go on not using every one. Reply Back to Top |
That'd be great. The only reason it is so low is because of college baseball's popularity in comparison to other collegiate sports. It would definitely give more incentive to great high school players to play in college. quote: Oh and this This post was edited on 5/6 at 9:51 pm Reply Back to Top |
| Only really really bad part of this would be the switch to wooden bats. I don't like that in college at all. Reply Back to Top |
| Then maybe USC can field a team again!! Reply Back to Top |

| I wouldn't mind either, as long as the playing field is even then no problem. Reply Back to Top |
quote: I agree with this. Selig could frick up a wet dream. I don't think the wooden bats are a huge deal, they all have played in a wood bat leagues for awhile in the offseason and the current bats don't seem that much different. Reply Back to Top |
| Wood bats would generate a lot more interest from a large number of people that laugh at College Baseball because of the aluminum bats. I know a ton of diehard MLB and Minor League fans here and they all hate College baseball because of the bats. Reply Back to Top |
