re: Crazy Times in Tiger Stadiumquote: I was coming to post this one. The weather was nice all day. As me and my father-in-law were walking to the stadium, we saw a really cute girl dressed up in Oregon State gear. He uses the Leslie Neilson/Naked Gun quote "Niiiiiiice beaver!" to her. We get in the stadium and the weather starts to look terrible. Borne says his usual "never rains" line, and the teams line up for the kickoff. The skies proceeds to open up. We stay out the entire rain delay. I then see a guy one section over from me running down the stairs with no shirt on. I then see said guy jump over the railing/concrete wall and I say to my dad, "Dad, look at this fricking dude!" When they finally corral and handcuff him, they walk him out toward the exit near the students and DO NOT cover him with anything. I think I remember the student section giving him a standing O. Then all the shite with Serna missing the extra points and FGs. By far the most memorable game from start to end of the day! Reply Back to Top |
| LSU/UGA 2003 I was 13/14 at the time...keep this in mind My dad buys tickets for us in the south endzone. This is my second tiger game ever, and I can't wait to whip UGA's butt. We get to our seats, and to my pleasure there is an older woman (mid 20's) with huge, fake ballons, which immediately draws my attention. Blah Blah, the game goes on (just one of the best games in Tiger Stadium history), and I'm sneaking a peek every few seconds. We score on the Skylar Green TD, and the crowd erupts. I have never heard anything so loud in my life. The girl next to me grabs me, and I am at the perfect height, and my face goes right into the cleavage. She jumps up and down for what felt like 3 minutes, screaming and cheering on the team. I was in heaven, and ultimately became a huge LSU football/co-ed fan!! ........I think we won the game Reply Back to Top |
| Last season of Curley Hallman era during the Alabama game, my buddy had enough and took off one shoe ran down the empty student section and flung the shoe right over Curley's head as the team was heading to the locker room for half time. LSU marshall at the corridor looked at him and told him to sit down. LSU marshall had the look on his face that he wanted to do the same. Reply Back to Top |

| The week after LSU's Big win against number 1 Florida. LSU was down to Ole Miss during the 4th quarter when an ole miss student walked into the student section holding his ole miss hat up waving it back and forth. Needless to say, he got his arse handed to him by a group of LSU students. The campus police grabbed him and escorted him out. The entire student section chanted Nah Nah Nah Nah, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye. Classic Reply Back to Top |

| 1998 Bama Somehow I ended up with 2 student tickets to the game. So for whatever reason (i forget why), I made a "roll tide" prop on a paint stick (Tide box + toilet paper) and dressed in a red hooded sweatshirt & sunglasses. The tickettaker woman was highly skeptical of me and tried to find any reason not to let me in the stadium. She examined my prop inside and out and patted me down. Finding nothing wrong, she reluctantly let me in. Once in, I made my way to the student section and began screaming "Roll Tide" at the top of my lungs. There was a collective, initial shock bythe students, but within about 15 seconds they started booing me, throwing drinks on me, cursing, yelling, pointing, basically getting in a riotous mood. Some frat guy (a guy I happened to know) bearhugged me and tried to walk me out of the stadium. He had no idea it was me. About 30 seconds later, a marshall came by to kick me out. Everyone cheered. I was soaked. I got roughed up - mainly shoved around - but no one threw a punch or anything like that. Once outside the stadium, I ditched the prop and the sweatshirt and entered the game to meet up with my friends who were laughing hysterically. I left before the game was over. I thought the Tigers had the W sealed up. But by the time I walked to my friend's dorm, they had managed to blow it. The End. Reply Back to Top |

There was a story on TD from a guy who had seen it all firsthand. From an online search of LSU fan falls from upper deck quote: Reply Back to Top |
| Hope someone that actually saw this reads this....I've posted the story before. Cigar game....buddy of mine's wife has too much to drink/leaves game/threatens to leave husband...my buddy asked another buddy to please follow her out of the stadium/keep her out of trouble..... Apparently, some HUGE dude (w/two chicks with him) starts talking #$@% to my friend/friends wife....this is going on just outside the "A" lot.. Arguing insues...HUGE dude takes a half hearted swing at my friend, but winds up heating the wife..... My friend, small but bowed, rares back, hits the big dude w/everything he has....dude falls down....unbeknownst to all, my other friend (the husband) has seen his wife get hit from about a hundred yards away....as the big dude is about to get up, my friend (the husband) is bullrushing in.....big dude says "oh, it's going to take two of you huh?".....my friend (the husband whose wife just got hit) says, "nah, just me", and proceeds to beat the guy to a bloody pulp. he's a big dude himself... cops come/witnesses testify to the above story....cop asked big dude that strarted it if he wanted to press charges...big dude declines...asked my buddy if he wants to press charges...his reply? "i already have". Notes.....We are not white trash.....the arse whipper in this story is as mild mannered a guy as I have ever seen....I guess we were all about 30 at the time - not young kids. | 1993 Ole Miss, I was 12 and seeing the band come down the hill, people on cars and in trees. 2 old men in lawn chairs with a pile of liqour bottles dressed in confederate uniforms passed out. After the game seeing all the confederate flags was a sight. Went into the locker room after the game. Crazy experience for a 12 year old who only heard the stories from my dad. Reply Back to Top |

| good thread, some lol stuff, I was at 1982 UT game (ended in tie!!!) in top of upper west deck, far south side...about 9pm, pitch dark out, A time out in third quarter, guy raised head back to drink from flask and some type of bird (owl I guess) flew right into his face and grabbed him, guy starts screaming and bats the bird away, when he looked at me it looked like a pterodactyl had taken a bite out of his face, he was so drunk he hardly felt it until blood started dripping down and he hurried out to first aid. Came back in Q4 with big bandage on his face. This post was edited on 5/3 at 3:06 pm Reply Back to Top |
| Another kind of weird moment was the Va Tech game in '07. I have seats 4 and 6 and I always would get the person in seat 5 to switch with one of us. This game was a teenage kid, who told me he was a recruit from out of state. I really didn't go into it too much with the kid about his recruitment, though. Kind of wished I had because I would have followed how his career went. Before the game, the kid tells me that he went to visit Va Tech and that they should replace Glennon(I think it was him) with the backup because he was better. He kept saying that this kid is legit or something to that nature. Sure enough, later in the game as LSU is destroying Tech, in comes Tyrod Taylor with his first ever college appearance and scores Tech's only TD that day. He also led the team that day in rushing and passing. Reply Back to Top |

quote: This is my best memory. We sat behind these 3 guys with their chest painted LSU. The 3 of them were going to run out and moon the Alabama fans/ team. 1 chickened out and decided he would bail out the other 2 after the game. We talked about when they should do it all game and then in the 3rd quarter they went down and hung out around the fence until the cops turned their heads. I was also at the naked streaker game with my new wife. Like her second game. Her first was Georgia in 03 when Mauck hit Green for the game winning TD. We went to see game day that Friday night at the PMAC and the UGA students were driving by to see while the LSU students were barricading the UGA cars in with the railing for the walk the next day. Their faces were classic. Reply Back to Top |
| Not all that crazy, but very funny to me. Florida game 1999 in my last semester at LSU. After we scored our lone touchdown of the game (boy that season sucked), the cups start raining down in the Student Section. One that apparently originated from the top and was completely full, came screaming down and hit my ex-girlfriend right in the back of the head. Knocks her arse out and she has to go to the ER with a concussion. She was sitting about seven people away from me and I saw the whole thing. Very well deserved and to this day I'd still like to buy a beer for the person who threw it. Reply Back to Top |

| '85 Bama game (ended in 14-14 tie). During a 4th qtr TO, a student (hippie) hops the fence in the NEZ and lets sail a frisbee. Great throw that made it all the way to the SEZ. He was escorted out. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
