| That Candy-o cover by Vargas was actually a nude, but in order to release it, they had to (draw) clothes on her. Reply Back to Top |
| It is a near impossible CD to find. I thought it was their best album. I am not a huge fan of the Cars but I love this album and all the Vargas work. Reply Back to Top |

dunno about favorite, that can be work to figure out, one of the first to come to mind though... back in the LP day this wasn't only a good record but 12"x24" art. Album covers decorated plenty of rooms then. Actually replicated this to a 3'x6' painting. King Crimson, In the Court of the Crimson King Reply Back to Top |
Here's one of my favorites, mostly because it was drawn by the late great Phil Hartmann of Saturday Night Live fame: ![]() Reply Back to Top |
Too many to choose from, but I always loved this one which personified the band to a tee: ![]() Reply Back to Top |

quote: I remember some of those. There was nothing greater than being a teenager and going to a 'real' record shop and rummaging through all those albums. Man that was fun. Reply Back to Top |
| The one with those guys walking across the street. I heard they're pretty popular, probably have a bright future ahead of them. Reply Back to Top |

This was one of the first albums I bought, and it was cool that Journey was playing off a theme, similar to Boston, with the space ship. This one was also awesome (I know, you said just one but) <ETA> When I was a kid, my dad borrowed a bunch of albums from a friend to make tapes of (that's the old way we copied music before MP3s for you whipper snappers) and one of the albums was this one: He had the albums leaning against the stereo speaker in the den, with this one facing out. He came home one day and it was moved to the middle of the stack. He put it back in front. A day or two later, it was back in the middle of the stack. He asked my brother and me if we had been messing with the albums because he he had them in a specific order for recording. We said no, and he moved it back to the front. Later that day my mom came in the den, noticed the album and said something like "dammit, I don't want my boys looking at that!" and moved it again. My brother and I BUSTED out laughing. I almost told her about the Playboys I had hidden under the bed... I think she must have talked to Dad, because that album did not find its way to the front again, and they were all soon gone.
