Awesome thread is awesome. Reply Back to Top |
| I noticed Bama hasn't offered him either but he has them listed in his top five. Maybe he has no interest in the Tigers Reply Back to Top |
| There are bigger fish LSU is after kid is good but has off the field issues from what I have read and that's why he has no LSU offer. Reply Back to Top |
Posted by ezrulz on 4/29 at 9:32 pm to Captain Crown Thanks ETT. If true then that's a real shame. This kid is an incredible football player.Reply Back to Top |
| He has 5'9 4.6 and limited athleticism issues and that's why he doesn't have an offer. Mathieu may be 5'9 but he's a much better athlete than this kid. Mathieu is a rare breed. Our staff has seen Ellis plenty and still hasn't offered so that should tell you something. I like the kid myself and would be perfectly pleased to take him in the class but not over tthe kids commited nor the kids left on the board. Cooper made the decision not offer Ellis and I'm going to take his track record and reputation as the right decision. The off field stuff, unless something new has come up, was terribly overstated. The kid got mad that we told him to camp and lost interest in us. Not that big of a deal. He's 17 and prone to emotional decisions just like the rest of us were when we were that age. | Why is Noel Ellis even being discussed in this thread? Reply Back to Top |

| We have no shot at Bell staff knows it. Now Priest Willis on the other hand.... Reply Back to Top |
| I logged on to youtube and looked him up and you're right. All you have to see is how he is always around the ball and how fluid his hips are as he runs. These are the kinds of players that will make you forget all about players like Janzen Jackson and Landon Collins. Only problem is we don't have a great track record of recruiting that area of the country. Reply Back to Top |
Posted by ezrulz on 4/30 at 10:35 am to lsueddie18 quote: Exactly. But that doesn't mean we should not continue to try, especially with the success Mathieu has had so far in his career. No other school can boast such a weapon at the cb position and this kid is the best ballhawk in the country IMO. We ought to be selling that spot as hard as Bama sells their "jack" linebacker role. And if we could somehow get Nkemdiche on board, then why shouldn't Bell take a hard look at us as well? This post was edited on 4/30 at 10:50 am Reply Back to Top |
| Why is he listed as a Safety from Rossville, Georgia? Did he move there after his junior year? His youtube highlights say 6'1 185 DB, WR from Chattanooga, TN... I like the song at very end of the video. LINK This post was edited on 4/30 at 11:29 am Reply Back to Top Refresh |
