| A few highlights from the trip besides my buddies double: - watching a black bear feed on the side of a mountain for about 45 minutes. He was only a couple hundred yards from camp at dark. We built a big fire that night - watching a Bald Eagle dive bomb a group of divers in the mountain lake - hearing 12-14 gobblers go off in every direction while hunting a valley one morning - listening to a gobbler sound off probably close to 200 times about 150 yards from camp one evening. - seeing close to 50 elk during the trip - finding a 5x5 elk shed Reply • Back to Top |
