 Tyranny defined--the USA governmentPosted by I B Freeman on 4/25 at 7:13 pm We read today the government feels a need to intervene in family labor on farms (many of these farms owned by families through corporations they set up to get more farm welfare since the welfare is limited to so many dollars per farm but they are family businesses nonetheless). Later I see this video LINK and I cannot believe this is the government of the United States. Not since FDR have we had such a powerful central government out to use the full power and strength of the bureaucracies to punish their enemies and advance socialist policy. I always thought describing Obama as a socialist was a little extreme but no more. He has assembled an out and out leftist regime. Reply • Back to Top |

| Incredible. I support the idea of an EPA to handle cross-border pollution disputes and to set logical nationwide standards, but this illustrates the danger of centralized power. No agency in the spirit of our founding should be out to "crucify" people to make examples of them "like the Romans did to villages along the Mediterranean."
