| gun trade * updated* Posted by bayoutiger08 So I came here to ask opinions on what type of shotgun I should seek to trade for my ruger sr40. After reading a few posts I decided to go with the benelli nova pump. The gun is really nice, and shoots like a dream (took it to the range once). I do not really have a need for it however and am looking to sell it for a handgun or rifle which I would use more often. I'm thinking about listing it on bayou shooter. What price do these typically go for used? What types of guns should I ask for in a trade. The nova shoots 2 3/4", 3", and 3 1/2" shells. | huge avatar is huge You can realistically expect to get a decent pump shotgun: Ruger 870 or Benelli Nova, or something similar. Reply • Back to Top |

| Are you looking for a HD gun or something for hunting? You could probably get a used Police Trade in 870 for it and them modify it for HD. Reply • Back to Top |

| Nova is an excellent shotgun, but it kicks like a son of a bitch. I quit dove hunting because it wasn't worth the hours of sleep I lost because of the pain. Now, i was a youth when I had so it may not bother a full grown man as much. Reply • Back to Top • Refresh |
