| Mixed sashimi plate is my go to order. I don't care for the rolls although I always the two-piece sweet shrimp served raw on sushi rice and accompanied with the shrimps heads flash-fried. Shrimps brains are ridiculous. Reply Back to Top |

Posted by Degas on 4/22 at 12:40 pm to fightingtigers98 Sashimi has absolutely nothing to do with sushi.Reply Back to Top |
| Not correct. You're confusing the term sushi with "maki". Reply Back to Top |
Not this again... Maki = Roll Sushi = Use of seasoned rice Sashimi = Protein with no sushi or rolling involved Class dismissed. Reply Back to Top |
| No need to show off how smart you are. I pointed out that I didn't like sushi because I don't care for the rice except in the case of sweet shrimp. I am aware of the differences I just choose to not be so pretentious. Reply Back to Top |

quote:No worries my friend. I'm glad you mentioned amaebi, because that's a dish I use to gauge a restaurant. If they can prepare quality amaebi, usually everything else is top notch...not to mention it's one of my favorites. Reply Back to Top |
